  1. Gameboy emulator v0.06

  3. This is a rewritten front end for Purple Monchichi's Gameboy emulator,
  4. supporting a number of extra features:
  5.  
  6.  * Full control over the frame rate
  7.  * Easy redefinition of keys and colours
  8.  * Saving and loading of game positions (with or without game/cheats)
  9.  * Use of Game Genie codes
  10.  * NEW! Runs in the desktop
  11.  
  12. I know I said v0.04 was the last release, but Purple Monchichi's new
  13. emulation code tempted me to make another version. Saving is now (as
  14. far as I can tell) perfect and, far more interestingly, I've made the
  15. emulator run in the desktop :) I've only managed to test it on a
  16. StrongARM, but it might run a little slowly on other processors.
  17. There's no documentation or interactive help at the moment as I'm in
  18. the middle of exams :( but if you've used previous versions it's
  19. pretty similar.

  40. The frame rate is controlled by using IOC Timer1, which may interfere
  41. with Acorn's Timecode module, but I do not have access to this, so I
  42. have not been able to test it.
